Sam is very kind, docile and affectionate....: and a fighter!!! His diabetes, thanks to the treatment with insulin, is disappearing!!!!
Its appearance reflects his hard life in the streets. It must have had a bad time because it is a kindly one. It came very ill due to its problems, and periodically it has to receive treatment.
In addition, for a few days it was urinating very much and when we took it to the vet , he did the suitable tests to it and we knew Sam has developed diabetes.
To give Sam a good quality of life it would be essential an specific food, in addition to medical treatment, but in the shelter it is impossible that he eats that specific renal food, because that involves having it shut up in a cage and this is not a worthy life
That's why we look for a taking in or adoption for him...
