He was rescued from the countryside where he was found abandoned in horrible conditions, totally skeletal and sick. Thanks to his will to live and the dedication of the volunteers, he is recovering at a satisfactory rate en very little time. He suffers from Leishmaniasis (a type of parasite) for which he is being treated and is responding to treatment quite positively. Leishmaniasis is NOT contagious and can be counteracted by following this treatment. He is neutered, de-wormed, and vaccinated.  

Description

“My former owners didn’t take care of me. They had me locked up and abandoned me in a field without water or food. I spent a lot of time without anyone caring for me or petting me until the people at the shelter found me. Now I can unwind and people can play with me and love me. I LOVE to be with people. I cannot walk very well, but I hope to someday soon be able to walk with other dogs because I am a very happy, playful dog. I am also very obedient and social. I love to swim at the beach because the volunteers at the shelter take me there to exercise my little legs in the sea. What I wish for the most right now is to be able to find a family that truly loves me. I would reciprocate with such appreciation and unconditional love for all of my life! ;)”
